Tim Byrdak

Tim Byrdak is a pitcher for the Mets. He joined the team in 2011. Byrdak had pitched eight seasons in the major leagues before coming to the Mets.

In ’11, Byrdak led all Mets pitchers with 72 game appearances. He recorded two wins and one save during the year. At Citi Field on May 7, Tim pitched a scoreless inning and got the win in a 4-2 Mets victory over the Dodgers. He chalked up a save in an 8-6 Mets win at Cincinnati on July 26. Byrdak was also the winning pitcher in the Mets’ 7-5 triumph at Atlanta on September 18.
