1963: The Mets steal six bases in a 6-3 win at Philadelphia. Tim Harkness steals three and Roger Craig records his last win as a Met.

1969: Tom Seaver pitches a complete game in a 7-1 Mets win over the Cubs at Shea Stadium. The victory puts the Mets one-half game behind the Cubs in the National League East Division.

1973: The Mets defeat the Expos, 3-0, at Montreal. George Stone and Tug McGraw combine for a shutout despite giving up a total of 13 hits.

1974: Ray Sadecki records his 30th and final win as a Met with a complete game in the team's 7-1 victory over the Expos at Shea Stadium.

1981: Terry Leach gets his first major league win and Ray Searage records his first save in a 5-3 Mets victory over the Pirates at Pittsburgh.

1984: The Mets score five runs in the sixth inning for a 5-1 win over the Cubs at Shea Stadium.

2007: The Mets defeat the Astros, 4-1, to complete a three-game series sweep at Shea Stadium.

2011: Justin Turner hits a run-scoring double in the ninth inning for a 5-4 Mets win over the Cubs at Citi Field.

2014: Jacob deGrom pitches eight scoreless innings with nine strikeouts and no walks in a 2-0 Mets win over the Rockies at Citi Field.

2015: The Mets defeat the Nationals, 5-3, to complete a three-game series sweep at Washington.
