1966: Jack Fisher pitches a four-hit shutout in a 3-0 Mets win over the Astros at Houston.

1968: The Mets sweep a doubleheader with 3-2 and 5-4 wins at Philadelphia.

1973: The Mets defeat the Pirates, 4-3, in 13 innings. Ron Hodges drives home John Milner with a game-winning single.

1975: Ron Hodges hits a two-run homer in the 11th inning for a 9-7 Mets win over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.

1976: Lee Mazzilli hits a two-run homer in the ninth inning to give the Mets a 5-4 win over the Pirates at Shea Stadium.

1978: The Mets score four runs in the seventh inning and defeat the Cardinals, 7-6, at St. Louis.
