Rick Trlicek

Rick Trlicek was a pitcher for the Mets in 1996 and 1997. He made 14 relief appearances for the team. Trlicek had seven strikeouts in 14 and one-third innings pitched as a Met.
Trlicek joined the Mets from their AAA-level team in Norfolk in September of ’96. In his first game with the team on September 14, he pitched two scoreless innings in a 6-5 Mets win over the Braves in 12 innings at Shea Stadium. Rick also had one and one-third scoreless innings pitched in a 5-2 Mets loss to the Braves at Shea on September 16.
In ’97, Trlicek had nine innings pitched for the Mets. He pitched an inning of a 5-4 Mets defeat at Chicago on June 11 in his final major league appearance. Rick concluded his career with the Norfolk team in 1998.
