1964: The Giants sweep the Mets in a doubleheader by scores of 5-3 and 8-6. The second game lasts 23 innings.

1965: On Memorial Day, Jack Fisher pitches a three-hitter in a 5-2 Mets win over the Cubs in a doubleheader opener at Chicago. The second game of the twinbill results in a 3-3 tie called by darkness after nine innings.

1969: Ed Charles drives in all the Mets' runs with a homer and a single in a 4-2 win over the Giants at Shea Stadium.

2002: The Mets defeat the Florida Marlins, 6-5, at Miami. Rey Ordonez hits a three-run double and a 10th inning home run.

2006: Endy Chavez singles to drive in the winning run in the 13th inning for a 1-0 Mets victory over the Diamondbacks at Shea Stadium.

2008: The Mets score three runs in the eighth inning to defeat the Dodgers, 3-2, at Shea Stadium.

2014: The Mets defeat the Phillies, 5-4, in 14 innings at Philadelphia.
