1971: Tommie Agee singles to drive home the winning run in the 11th inning for a 3-2 Mets victory over the Cubs at Shea Stadium.

1972: The Mets defeat the Giants, 8-5, to complete a three-game series sweep at San Francisco.

1981: Joel Youngblood hits a three-run homer to break a tie in the seventh inning for a 7-4 Mets victory over the Padres at Shea Stadium. The win gives the Mets a split of a doubleheader.
