1964: Tracy Stallard pitches a four-hit complete game in a 4-2 Mets win over the Giants at Shea Stadium.

1966: The Mets score three runs in the ninth inning for a 7-6 win over the Dodgers at Los Angeles.

1971: Tom Seaver (10) and Nolan Ryan (16) record a total of 26 strikeouts in 5-1 and 2-1 Mets wins over the Padres in a doubleheader at San Diego.

1972: On Memorial Day, the Mets score four runs in the ninth inning for a 7-6 win over the Cardinals at St. Louis.

1973: Tom Seaver strikes out sixteen batters and hits a home run in a 5-2 Mets win over the Giants at San Francisco.

1979: The Mets score four runs in the seventh inning in a 6-2 win over the Cardinals at St. Louis.

1981: During a 6-1 win over the Cubs at Shea Stadium, the Mets trade Jeff Reardon and Dan Norman to the Montreal Expos for Ellis Valentine.

1983: The Mets defeat the Padres, 3-2, at San Diego. It is the final win for George Bamberger as Mets manager.

1987: The Mets trade Al Pedrique and Scott Little to the Pittsburgh Pirates for Bill Almon.

1994: The Mets complete a three-game series sweep with an 8-5 win over the Reds at Shea Stadium.

1998: Rick Reed and John Hudek combine on a five-hit shutout in an 11-0 Mets win over the Phillies at Philadelphia.

2003: The Mets hit six doubles in a 5-0 win over the Phillies at Philadelphia.

2006: The Mets score two runs in the ninth inning for an 8-7 win over the Diamondbacks at Shea Stadium.

2007: The Mets defeat the Giants, 5-4, in 12 innings at Shea Stadium. Former Met reliever Armando Benitez commits two balks to tie the game before giving up a winning homer to Carlos Delgado.

2009: Omir Santos hits a homer and a run-scoring single in a 2-1 Mets win over the Marlins in 11 innings at Citi Field.

2010: Fernando Nieve starts for the Mets at Milwaukee. In honor of the Negro Leagues, the Mets wear uniforms of the New York Cubans while the Brewers wear those of the Milwaukee Bears. Nieve gives up two home runs and is taken out of the game after two innings pitched. The Brewers defeat the Mets, 8-6.

2012: Jeremy Hefner hits a home run and picks up his first major league win in a 6-3 Mets victory over the Phillies at Citi Field.

2013: The Mets score five runs in the top of the first inning in a 9-4 win over the Yankees.

2014: Mets pitchers record fifteen strikeouts in a 4-1 win over the Phillies at Philadelphia.
