1969: Tom Seaver pitches a three-hit shutout in a 5-0 Mets win over the Braves at Atlanta.

1972: The Mets defeat the Phillies, 4-3, at Philadelphia. It is the Mets' 11th consecutive win.

1978: After falling behind by five runs in the first inning, the Mets come back to defeat the Phillies, 6-5, in 10 innings at Shea Stadium.

1988: Dwight Gooden pitches a four-hit shutout in a 4-0 Mets win over the Dodgers at Los Angeles.

1990: The Mets score eight runs in the third inning of a 12-3 win over the Dodgers at Los Angeles.

2000: Derek Bell hits a run-scoring single in the ninth inning to give the Mets a 7-6 win over the Diamondbacks at Shea Stadium.

2003: The Mets score in each of the final three innings for a 5-4 win over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.

2005: The Mets defeat the Yankees, 7-1, at Shea Stadium. Every player in the Mets' starting lineup gets at least one hit in the game.

2006: Carlos Delgado and David Wright hit back-to-back homers in the fourth inning for all the Mets' scoring of a 4-3 win over the Yankees at Shea Stadium.

2010: In his first game after being recalled from Triple-A Buffalo, Elmer Dessens takes the loss as the Mets fall to the Yankees, 2-1.

2015: Jacob deGrom records eleven strikeouts and a string of twenty-three consecutive batters retired in a 5-0 Mets win over the Cardinals at Citi Field.
