1964: Al Jackson pitches a two-hit shutout in a 3-0 Mets win over the Reds at Cincinnati.

1967: The Mets come from behind in the 12th inning for a 3-2 win over the Giants at Shea Stadium.

1968: Nolan Ryan and Ron Taylor combine for a three-hit shutout in a 3-0 Mets win over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.

1971: Bob Aspromonte drives in a run with a triple in the 10th inning to give the Mets a 6-5 win over the Astros at Houston.

1972: Gary Gentry pitches a two-hitter in a 4-2 Mets win over the Giants at San Francisco.
