1962: The Mets score four runs in the eighth inning for a come-from-behind 6-5 win over the Braves in Milwaukee.

1972: Jerry Grote hits a pair of home runs in an 8-3 Mets win over the Phillies at Philadelphia. It is Grote's only two-homer game of his career.

1977: The Mets defeat the Giants, 4-3, to complete a sweep of a three-game series at Shea Stadium. Jackson Todd pitches seven shutout innings and records his first major league win.

1978: The Mets score four runs in the eighth and ninth innings for a 4-3 win over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.

1985: Tom Gorman and Roger McDowell combine for a four-hitter in a 3-2 Mets win over the Giants at Shea Stadium.

1989: The Mets draw four consecutive walks in the 10th inning for a 3-2 win over the Giants at Shea Stadium.

1992: The Mets defeat the Padres, 8-0, at San Diego. David Cone records his fourth win and third shutout of the year.

1993: Bobby Bonilla hits a two-run homer in the 10th inning to give the Mets a 6-4 win over the Pirates at Shea Stadium. Following the game, manager Jeff Torborg is fired and replaced by Dallas Green.

1995: The Mets score four runs in the seventh inning and defeat the Phillies, 5-1, at Philadelphia. Eric Gunderson records his only win as a Mets pitcher.

1997: John Olerud hits a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Mets a 4-3 win over the Rockies at Shea Stadium.

1998: The Mets sweep a doubleheader with 7-3 and 5-3 wins over the Reds at Shea Stadium.

2006: David Wright's run-scoring single in the ninth inning gives the Mets a 7-6 win over the Yankees at Shea Stadium.

2007: David Wright hits a pair of two-run homers as the Mets defeat the Yankees, 10-7, at Shea Stadium.

2010: R.A. Dickey makes his Mets debut at Washington. He gets a no-decision in the Mets' 5-3 loss to the Nationals. In the game, Angel Pagan hits an inside-the-park home run in the top of the fourth inning and starts a triple play in the bottom of the fifth.

2011: Dillon Gee and two relievers team up for a three-hit shutout in a 1-0 Mets win over the Nationals at Citi Field.

2013: Juan Lagares and Daniel Murphy hit home runs to give the Mets a 4-3 comeback win over the Cubs at Chicago.
