1962: The Mets come back to tie three times and defeat the Cubs, 6-5, in 13 innings at the Polo Grounds.

1963: All nine Mets players collect at least one hit each in a 7-4 win over the Colt .45s at Houston.

1964: Charley Smith hits a two-run double in the eighth inning to give the Mets a 4-2 victory at San Francisco. It is the 100th win for the Mets in their history.

1966: Rob Gardner pitches a four-hit complete game in a 6-1 Mets win over the Giants at Shea Stadium.

1970: Tom Seaver pitches the Mets' second one hitter in as many games, beating the Phillies, 4-0. Gary Gentry had also pitched a one hitter two days earlier.

1972: Tommie Agee and Jim Fregosi hit home runs in a 5-3 Mets win over the Expos at Shea Stadium.

1979: Craig Swan and Skip Lockwood combine for a shutout in a 3-0 Mets win over the Pirates at Pittsburgh.

1984: After falling behind by five runs, the Mets come back and defeat the Giants, 7-6, in 11 innings at San Francisco.

1987: The Mets collect five extra-base hits in an 8-3 win over the Giants at Shea Stadium.

1995: The Mets score three runs in the eighth inning for a 5-3 comeback win over the Expos at Shea Stadium.

1999: After falling behind by six runs, the Mets come back for a 9-7 win over the Phillies in Philadelphia.

2001: In Bobby Jones' first game at Shea Stadium as a visiting pitcher, the Mets record a 1-0 victory over the Padres. Rick Reed hurls eight scoreless innings for the win.

2002: Jeff D'Amico pitches a two-hit shutout as the Mets defeat the Dodgers, 2-0, at Los Angeles.

2011: Justin Turner drives in five runs in the Mets' 7-4 win over the Astros at Houston.
