1966: The Mets come from behind for a 4-2 win over the Cubs at Chicago.

1967: The Mets sweep a doubleheader with 9-1 and 5-3 wins over the Braves in Atlanta.

1969: The Mets sweep a doubleheader with 2-1 and 5-0 wins over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.

1970: The Mets sweep a doubleheader, 9-5 and 6-1, over the Cubs at Chicago. The win in the second game puts the Mets into first place in the National League East Division.

1971: Tom Seaver hits a home run in the eighth inning to give himself and the Mets a 2-1 win over the Expos at Montreal.
