1962: Al Jackson pitches the Mets' first one-hitter with a 2-0 win over the Houston Colt .45s at the Polo Grounds.

1966: Cleon Jones hits a two-run single off the Cardinals' Al Jackson in the 10th inning to give the Mets a 2-0 win at St. Louis.

1969: The Mets sweep a doubleheader with 5-1 and 1-0 wins over the Cardinals at Shea Stadium.

1971: Charlie Williams pitches eight scoreless innings in a 3-2 Mets win over the Pirates at Pittsburgh.

2011: The Mets defeat the Athletics, 3-2, in 13 innings at Citi Field.

2012: The Mets score five runs in the first inning of a 6-4 win over the Yankees at Citi Field.

2014: The Mets collect seventeen hits in an 11-5 win over the Marlins at Miami.
