1964: The Mets defeat the Phillies, 7-3, at Shea Stadium. Joe Christopher and Hawk Taylor each hit two home runs in the game.

1965: The Mets and Dodgers split a doubleheader in Los Angeles. The Dodgers win the first game, 2-1, and the Mets take the second, 3-2.

1968: The Mets defeat the Astros, 5-3, at Shea Stadium. Tom Seaver strikes out 12 batters and Cleon Jones drives in four runs.

1971: In the first game of a doubleheader, the Mets hit five straight singles in the ninth inning for three runs and a 7-6 win over the Phillies at Shea Stadium. The Phils win the second game of the twinbill, 9-7, in 11 innings.
