1963: The Mets sweep a doubleheader with 2-1 and 4-3 wins over the Pirates at the Polo Grounds. Both games end in 10 innings.

1964: The Mets score five runs in the seventh inning for a 7-4 win over the Colt .45s at Shea Stadium.

1969: Jerry Koosman pitches a five-hit complete game in a 2-1 Mets win over the Dodgers at Shea Stadium. The victory lifts the Mets' season record to the .500 mark.

1975: Jon Matlack pitches a four-hit shutout in a 2-0 Mets win over the Astros at Shea Stadium.

1977: Lee Mazzilli and Felix Millan combine for five RBIs in a 7-4 Mets win over the Expos at Montreal.

1984: Mookie Wilson hits a two-run homer and scores from second base on a force play grounder in a 5-2 Mets win over the Cardinals at Shea Stadium.

2000: The Mets hit three home runs for a 5-3 win over the Devil Rays at Shea Stadium.

2001: Al Leiter and a pair of relievers team up for a six-hitter in a 7-1 Mets win over the Marlins at Florida.

2004: The Mets defeat the Phillies, 5-3, in 10 innings. Todd Zeile hits two home runs to drive in all five runs. The win gives the Mets a three-game sweep in their first visit ever to Citizen's Bank Park.

2005: The Mets score three runs in both the fourth and sixth innings in a 6-1 win over the Diamondbacks at Shea Stadium.

2007: Carlos Delgado and Ruben Gotay hit home runs in a 7-1 Mets win over the Diamondbacks at Shea Stadium.

2011: After training by seven runs, the Mets come back for a 9-8 win over the Pirates at Citi Field.

2012: One day after Johan Santana's no-hitter against the Cardinals, R. A. Dickey pitches a complete game shutout in a 5-0 Mets win over St. Louis at Citi Field.

2014: The Mets defeat the Phillies, 11-2, at Philadelphia. Wilmer Flores drives in six runs with a double and a grand slam.
