1967: The Mets split a doubleheader with the Cubs, each game ending in a 4-3 score. In the opener, Tommie Reynolds homers in the 10th inning for a Mets win.

1969: Jerry Koosman pitches a four-hit shutout in a 2-0 Mets win over the Phillies at Philadelphia.

1971: Gary Gentry hurls a two-hit shutout and Ken Singleton slugs a two-run homer in a 2-0 Mets win over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.

1972: Tom Seaver hits a home run in the seventh inning to give himself and the Mets a 2-1 win at Cincinnati.

1985: Ed Lynch pitches a complete game in a 5-1 Mets win over the Cubs at Shea Stadium. The teams combine for fifteen hits, all of which are singles.

1988: The Mets defeat the Phillies, 3-2, in 14 innings at Shea Stadium.

2004: Mike Cameron hits a home run in the ninth inning for a 3-2 Mets win over the Tigers at Shea Stadium.

2006: David Wright hits a grand slam in a 9-4 Mets win over the Orioles at Shea Stadium.

2008: Damion Easley's home run in the 10th inning gives the Mets a 5-4 victory over the Angels in Anaheim. The win is the first for Jerry Manuel as the team's manager.

2010: Five Mets pitchers combine for a shutout in a 4-0 win over the Yankees.

2012: R. A. Dickey pitches his second consecutive one-hitter in a 5-0 Mets win over the Orioles at Citi Field. In the game, Dickey records thirteen strikeouts and Ike Davis hits a grand slam.

2013: The Mets sweep a doubleheader with 4-3 and 6-1 wins over the Braves at Atlanta. Matt Harvey strikes out thirteen batters in the opener. Zack Wheeler records the win in his major league debut in the nightcap.
