1964: The Mets pound out thirteen hits in an 11-3 win over the Phillies at Philadelphia.

1966: Jerry Grote's run-scoring single in the 11th inning gives the Mets a 3-2 win over the Reds at Shea Stadium.

1970: Tommie Agee, Art Shamsky and Mike Jorgensen drive in a total of six runs in an 8-1 Mets win over the Braves at Shea Stadium.

1975: Jon Matlack pitches a shutout and Felix Millan hits two run-scoring doubles in a 2-0 Mets win over the Dodgers at Los Angeles.

1977: Tom Seaver pitches a complete game in a 3-1 Mets' win over the Astros in Houston. It is Tom's last game as a Met before his trade to the Reds three days later.

1979: The Mets score ten runs in the sixth inning and go on to defeat the Reds, 12-6, at Shea Stadium.

1982: The Mets score five runs in the third inning en route to a 6-2 win over the Cardinals at Shea Stadium.

1983: Tom Seaver pitches a four-hit complete game in a 9-1 Mets win over the Expos at Shea Stadium.

1985: The Mets score four runs in the 11th inning for a 7-3 victory at Philadelphia. Rick Aguilera records the win in his major league debut.

1987: The Mets get twelve hits in a 10-2 win over the Pirates at Pittsburgh.

1990: The Mets collect twenty-one hits in a 19-8 win over the Cubs at Chicago.

1994: Kevin McReynolds hits two home runs to lead the Mets to a 5-4 win over the Expos at Shea Stadium.

2003: On the same day that general manager Steve Phillips is fired, the Mets trounce the Texas Rangers by a score of 11-0 at the Ballpark in Arlington.

2009: The Mets lose 9-8 to the Yankees when Luis Castillo drops a routine pop up in the bottom of the ninth that lead to two unearned runs.

2010: The Mets defeat the Baltimore Orioles, 3-1, at Camden Yards. Jose Reyes hits a leadoff home run in the first inning.

2011: Chris Capuano and two relievers combine for a six-hit shutout in a 7-0 Mets win over the Pirates at Pittsburgh.

2013: The Mets hit three home runs in a 5-1 win over the Cardinals at Citi Field.
