1964: Frank Thomas homers with two out in the ninth to give the Mets a 4-3 win over the Cardinals at Shea Stadium.

1967: The Mets score twice with two outs in the ninth inning for a 5-4 win over the Braves at Shea Stadium.

1969: Tom Seaver carries a perfect game into the ninth inning before giving up a single to the Cubs' Jimmy Qualls. The Mets win, 4-0.

1970: Tom Seaver hits his first major league home run and pitches a complete game as the Mets defeat the Expos, 7-1, at Shea Stadium. Ron Swoboda hits a grand slam.

2008: Ramon Castro hits a three-run homer in a 5-0 Mets win over the Giants at Shea Stadium.

2013: The Mets score five runs in the eighth inning and defeat the Giants, 10-6, at San Francisco.

2014: In his first game after two months on the disabled list, Dillon Gee pitches seven innings for the win in a 4-1 Mets victory over the Braves at Citi Field.
