1962: Rod Kanehl hits the first grand slam in Mets' history in a 10-3 win over the Cardinals. Also in the game, Gil Hodges hits his 370th and final major league homer.

1966: The Mets hit seven doubles in a 7-5 win at Philadelphia.

1968: Phil Linz and Cleon Jones combine for nine hits and six RBIs in the Mets' 11-6 win over the Phillies at Philadelphia.

1969: After trailing 6-1, the Mets come back for an 8-7 win over the Pirates at Pittsburgh.

1970: Tommie Agee hits for the cycle in the Mets' 10-3 win over the Cardinals.

1984: The Mets sweep a doubleheader against the Reds, 1-0 and 6-5. Kelvin Chapman's ninth-inning single scores Jose Oquendo with the winning run in the second game.

1988: Ron Darling wins his own game with a sixth-inning single in a 5-4 Mets victory over the Reds at Shea Stadium.

1997: Carl Everett's run-scoring single in the 12th inning gives the Mets a 3-2 win over the Marlins at Shea Stadium.

1999: Jason Isringhausen records his first major league save in a 10-0 Mets win over the Expos at Shea Stadium.

2003: The Mets score five runs in the eighth and ninth innings for a 7-5 win over the Reds at Cincinnati.
