1965: The Mets and Cubs split a doubleheader at Chicago. In the opener, Galen Cisco pitches a shutout and scores three runs in a 14-0 Mets victory. The Cubs win the nightcap, 2-1, in 12 innings.

1979: In a game cut short in the seventh inning due to rain, the Mets record a 4-0 win over the Cubs at Shea Stadium.

2004: Eric Valent hits for the cycle in the Mets' 10-1 win over the Expos at Montreal.

2007: John Maine pitches a one-hitter in the Mets' 5-0 win over the Nationals. The game is stopped in the bottom of the fifth inning due to rain.

2010: The Mets defeat the Cardinals, 4-0, at Citi Field. R. A. Dickey pitches eight and one-third innings of shutout ball and Ike Davis hits a three-run homer.

2012: The Mets pound out four run-scoring doubles in a 5-1 win over the Diamondbacks in Arizona.

2013: The Mets come from behind with three runs in the seventh inning for a 6-5 win over the Marlins at Miami.

2015: Lucas Duda hits three home runs in a 7-3 Mets loss to the Padres at Citi Field.
