1978: The Mets gain a split of a doubleheader with a 7-4 win over the Braves at Atlanta. Skip Lockwood pitches the final three innings for a save and hits a home run.
1980: John Pacella and Jeff Reardon team up for a shutout in a 6-0 Mets win over the Braves at Atlanta.
1986: The Mets score thirteen runs in the final three innings for a 13-2 win over the Astros at Houston.
1990: The Mets collect sixteen hits in a 6-2 win over the Astros at Houston.
1991: The Mets defeat the Giants, 6-5, at Shea Stadium. A home run by Kevin McReynolds and two sacrifice flies by Mackey Sasser in the last three innings provide for a come-from-behind win.
1992: David Cone pitches a six-hit shutout over the Giants at Shea Stadium. Cone records 13 strikeouts in the 1-0 win.
1993: Frank Tanana and two relievers team up for a three-hitter in a 3-1 Mets win over the Giants at San Francisco.
1996: Butch Huskey drives in the winning run with a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning for a 3-2 Mets victory over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.
1997: Butch Huskey singles home the winning run in the tenth inning for a 4-3 Mets victory over the Cubs at Shea Stadium.
1998: Hideo Nomo and two relievers team up for a four-hit shutout in a 6-0 Mets win over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.
2000: The Mets defeat the Blue Jays, 7-5, in 11 innings at Toronto.
2001: The Mets complete a three-game series sweep with a 1-0 win over the Blue Jays at Shea Stadium.
2002: The Mets score five runs in the eighth inning in a 9-6 win over the Expos at Montreal.
