Juan Uribe is an infielder for the Mets. He joined the team in 2015.

Uribe was in his fifteenth season in the major leagues when he came to the Mets. He had accumulated 771 runs batted in and 2,440 total bases during his career with the Rockies, White Sox, Giants, Dodgers and Braves. Juan was a member of world championship teams with the Sox in 2005 and Giants in 2010.

In his second game as a Met in ’15, Uribe hit a run-scoring single in the tenth inning to give the team a 3-2 victory over the Dodgers at Citi Field on July 26. He slugged a three-run homer in an 8-6 Mets win over the Marlins at Miami on August 5. Juan homered in a 4-3 Mets triumph over the Rays at Tampa Bay on August 7. At Citi Field on August 12, he had a run-scoring double and a single for his 1,500th career hit in the Mets’ 3-0 victory over the Rockies. Uribe homered to put the Mets ahead to stay in a 14-9 win over the Rockies at Colorado on August 22. He hit a two-run double in a 5-4 Mets triumph over the Red Sox at Citi Field on August 30. Juan had two singles, a double and three RBIs in a 7-2 Mets win over the Braves in Atlanta on September 10. He slugged a two run homer in a 5-1 Mets victory over the Yankees on September 18 at Citi Field.
