Josh Edgin is a pitcher for the Mets. He joined the team in 2012.

Edgin was called up to the Mets from AA-level Binghamton during the ’12 season. On July 13, he made his major league debut in the Mets’ 7-5 defeat to the Braves in Atlanta. Josh recorded his first major league win in an 8-7 Mets victory over the Giants in 10 innings at San Francisco on July 30.

In 2013, Edgin pitched two innings of one-hit ball to close out a 7-2 Mets win over the Phillies at Philadelphia on April 8. He retired all four batters he faced to finish off a 12-5 Mets victory over the Brewers at Milwaukee on July 5. At San Francisco three nights later, Josh recorded the win in a 4-3 Mets triumph over the Giants in 16 innings at San Francisco.

In 2014, Edgin struck out the side in order in the 10th inning and got the win in the Mets' 4-3 victory over the Phillies in 11 innings at Philadelphia on June 1. In his first appearance coming off an injury on September 9, he recorded a strikeout with the bases loaded in the ninth inning of a 2-0 Mets win over the Rockies at Citi Field.
