Eric Campbell is an infielder for the Mets. He joined the team in 2014.

Campbell played six full seasons in the Mets' minor league system before joining the parent club. In his first major league plate appearance on May 10, he drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in a 5-4 Mets loss to the Phillies at Citi Field. Eric singled for his first major league hit in a 5-4 Mets win over the Phils in 11 innings at Citi Field on May 11. He hit a two-run single in the first inning of a 5-2 Mets victory over the Nationals at Washington on May 17. Campbell hit his first major league home run in a 4-3 Mets loss to the Dodgers on May 21 at Citi Field. He had a sacrifice fly and an outstanding outfield catch that became a double play in a 5-3 Mets win over the Dodgers on May 22 at Citi Field. Eric had a single, two doubles and his first career stolen base in the Mets' 5-3 victory over the Pirates at Pittsburgh on June 28. He singled twice and hit a run-scoring double in a 6-5 Mets win over the Rangers at Citi Field on July 4. Campbell hit a run-scoring single to put the Mets ahead to stay in a 5-4 triumph over the Marlins on July 12 at Citi Field. He homered to drive in all of the Mets' runs in a 3-2 win over the Cubs at Citi Field on August 15. Eric hit a homer to ignite a five-run third inning in an 8-5 Mets victory over the Athletics at Oakland on August 20. As a third baseman in the Mets' 11-3 win over the Dodgers at Los Angeles on August 24, he fielded a ground ball for the start a triple play. Campbell scored on the front end of a double steal in a 4-1 Mets victory over the Phillies at Citi Field on August 29.

In 2015, Campbell singled and scored twice each in a 5-4 Mets win over the Marlins at Citi Field on April 18. He homered in the Mets' 8-2 victory over the Yankees on April 25. Eric had a single, a double and a pair of runs scored in a 5-1 Mets triumph over the Brewers at Citi Field on May 17. He slugged a two-run homer and had two stolen bases in a 6-3 Mets victory over the Diamondbacks at Arizona on June 7. Campbell hit a two-run homer in a 4-1 Mets win over the Giants at San Francisco on July 8. He singled to drive in the tying and winning runs in a 7-2 Mets triumph over the Nationals at Washington on July 21. Eric had a single to drive in the winning run in the Mets' 5-1 victory over the Marlins at Miami on August 4.
