1966: The Mets defeat the Dodgers, 10-4, at Shea Stadium. The team pins the loss on Sandy Koufax for only the second time in twenty games against him.

1968: Tom Seaver pitches a three-hitter and Art Shamsky hits a grand slam in an 8-2 Mets win over the Cardinals at Shea Stadium.

1969: Donn Clendenon hits a home run in the 10th inning to give the Mets a 3-2 win over the Giants at San Francisco.

1974: Ray Sadecki pitches a complete game in a 4-2 Mets win over the Braves at Shea Stadium.

1978: The Mets get sixteen hits in a 10-4 win over the Giants at San Francisco.

1987: Gary Carter hits a grand slam in the first inning of a 5-3 Mets win over the Giants at San Francisco.

1988: Bob Ojeda pitches a shutout in a 1-0 Mets win over the Padres at Shea Stadium.

1989: The Mets defeat the Dodgers, 9-3, to complete a three-game series sweep at Los Angeles.

1992: Bobby Bonilla hits a three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Mets a 4-3 win over the Reds.

1999: Edgardo Alfonzo sets a new club record with 16 total bases in a game. Alfonzo goes 6-for-6 with two singles, a double and three home runs in the Mets' 17-1 win over the Astros in Houston.

2000: Rick Reed pitches seven innings of three-hit shutout ball in a 1-0 Mets win over the Astros at Shea Stadium.

2006: The Mets hit four home runs in an 11-3 win over the Rockies at Colorado.

2013: Dillon Gee records his tenth win of the season in a 3-2 Mets victory over the Nationals at Washington.

2015: Michael Cuddyer's RBI single in the seventh inning gives the Mets a 5-4 win over the Red Sox at Citi Field.
