1971: Tom Seaver pitches a complete game shutout and the Mets collect fourteen hits in a 6-0 win over the Dodgers at Los Angeles.

1974: Rusty Staub's RBI single in the 12th inning gives the Mets a 2-1 win over the Reds at Cincinnati.

1975: Craig Swan wins his first major league game of the year as the Mets defeat the Giants, 4-2, at Shea Stadium.
