1962: The Mets record their first win, 9-1, over the Pirates in Pittsburgh. Jay Hook is the winning pitcher.

1968: Jerry Koosman strikes out eleven batters in a 3-1 Mets win over the Astros at Shea Stadium.

1969: Jerry Koosman pitches a five-hit shutout in a 2-0 Mets win over the Pirates at Shea Stadium. The victory is the 400th for the Mets in team history.

1971: The Mets defeat the Cubs, 7-6, in 12 innings at Chicago. Charlie Williams makes his major league debut in the game.

1972: The Mets sweep a doubleheader, 8-2 and 7-6, against the Cubs at Shea Stadium. Jon Matlack records his first major league win in the opener. In the nightcap, Jim Beauchamp singles home the winning run in the 12th inning in his first appearance as a Met.

1965: Trailing 8-2 after seven innings, the Mets score six times in the eighth and ninth and once in the 11th for a 9-8 win over the Giants at San Francisco.

1975: The Mets defeat the Cardinals, 7-1, at Shea Stadium. Six runs in the fifth inning propel the Mets to victory.

1980: Mark Bomback records his first major league win in a 3-2 Mets victory over the Phillies at Philadelphia.

1988: The Mets defeat the Cardinals, 12-9, at St. Louis.

1989: Kevin McReynolds and Gary Carter hit home runs in the eighth inning to give the Mets a 4-2 win over the Cubs at Shea Stadium.

1991: Ron Darling and two relievers team up for a six-hitter in a 2-1 Mets win over the Phillies at Philadelphia.

1992: The Mets defeat the Cardinals, 1-0, in 13 innings. Daryl Boston gets hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to win it.

1993: Bobby Bonilla hits two home runs and Todd Hundley hits another for all the Mets' scoring in a 6-1 win over the Padres at Shea Stadium.

1996: Chris Jones hits a two-run homer in the 10th inning to give the Mets an 8-6 win over the Reds at Shea Stadium.

1997: Todd Hundley hits two homers and drives in five runs in a 10-2 Mets win over the Reds at Shea Stadium.

1999: The Mets score four runs in the last two innings for a 6-5 comeback win over the Cubs at Chicago.

2000: The Mets complete a three-game series sweep with a 15-8 win over the Cubs at Shea Stadium.

2002: Vance Wilson hits a run-scoring single in the fifth inning for a 4-3 Mets win over the Cardinals at Shea Stadium.

2003: Al Leiter records his third win of the season in a 4-2 Mets victory over the Astros at Shea Stadium.

2005: The Mets score ten runs in the fourth and fifth innings and defeat the Nationals, 10-5, at Shea Stadium.

2007: Jose Valentin and Carlos Delgado hit home runs and combine for six RBIs in a 6-1 Mets win over the Rockies at Shea Stadium.

2008: In their first game ever at Nationals Park in Washington, the Mets record a 7-2 win over the Nats.

2010: Hisanori Takahashi strikes out seven batters in three innings of relief in a 5-2 Mets win over the Braves at Citi Field.

2011: Daniel Murphy hits two run-scoring singles for a 6-4 Mets win over the Diamondbacks at Citi Field.

2014: The Mets defeat the Cardinals, 3-2, at Citi Field. In the ninth inning, Ruben Tejada makes a throw to the plate to preserve the Mets' lead. The call is upheld after a St. Louis replay challenge.

2015: The Mets defeat the Braves, 6-3, at Citi Field to extend their winning streak to eleven games, tying a team record.
