1963: Al Jackson pitches a complete game in a 3-1 Mets win over the Braves at the Polo Grounds.

1965: Warren Spahn records his first win as a Mets pitcher in the team's 3-2 victory over the Dodgers at Los Angeles.

1967: Tom Seaver wins his first game in the majors as the Mets defeat the Cubs, 6-1. Seaver pitches seven and one-third innings and records five strikeouts.

1968: Ron Swoboda hits a three-run homer in a 3-2 Mets win over the Dodgers at Shea Stadium.

1969: The Mets pound out fourteen hits in an 11-3 win over the Cardinals at St. Louis.

1974: The Mets score three runs in the eighth inning for a 5-2 win over the Pirates at Shea Stadium.

2014: The Mets defeat the Braves, 4-3, in 14 innings at Citi Field.
