Andres Torres

Andres Torres is an outfielder for the Mets. He joined the team in a trade with the Giants on December 6, 2011. Torres had played seven seasons in the major leagues before coming to New York.

In 2012, Torres made his Mets debut in the season opener at Citi Field on April 5. He scored the only run of the game in a 1-0 Mets win over the Braves. At Arizona on July 29, Andres had two singles and a pair of runs scored in the Mets' 5-1 victory over the Diamondbacks.
