Willie Harris is an infielder and outfielder for the Mets. In 2011, he joined the team after ten seasons in the major leagues.

In ’11, Harris led the Mets with 126 games played. He had 59 hits and 36 runs scored for the year. At Florida on April 2, Willie hit a two-run double in the 10th inning in the Mets’ 6-4 win over the Marlins. One day later, he had a two-run homer in a 9-2 Mets victory over the Fish. Harris scored three runs in a 9-5 Mets victory at Colorado on May 12. He had two singles, a stolen base and two runs scored in a 14-5 Mets triumph at Texas on June 25. Willie had a pair of singles and an RBI in the Mets’ 5-1 win over the Marlins in the second game of a doubleheader at Citi Field on August 29. At Washington on September 4, he singled home two runs to put the Mets ahead to stay for a 6-3 victory over the Nationals. Harris also had a game-winning two-run single in the Mets’ 8-6 victory at St. Louis on September 22.
