Willie Collazo was a pitcher for the Mets in 2007. He made six relief appearances for the team. Collazo had five and two-thirds innings pitched as a Met.

In the ’07 season, Collazo had a 2.46 earned run average for the Mets’ AAA-level team in New Orleans. He made his major league debut with one and two thirds scoreless innings in a 7-0 Mets loss at Cincinnati on September 5. Willie pitched a scoreless ninth inning to finish off the Mets’ 11-3 win over the Astros on September 7 at Shea Stadium. He also retired the only batter he faced in a 13-0 Mets victory over the Marlins at Shea on September 29.

Collazo pitched in 37 games with New Orleans in 2008. The following year, he joined the Marlins organization and again pitched for the New Orleans team (which had become a Florida affiliate.) Willie pitched in the Blue Jays’ minor league system in 2010 and 2011.
