Wayne Graham was a third baseman for the Mets in 1964. He had 3 hits in 20 games played as a member of the team.

Graham was traded with Gary Kroll to the Mets by the Phillies for Frank Thomas on August 7, 1964. He got a double in the Mets' 5-4 loss at Pittsburgh on August 12. At Chicago on August 28, he got a single and scored the tying run in the Mets' 12-10 comeback win over the Cubs. Wayne also singled in a 6-2 Mets loss to the Dodgers at Shea Stadium on September 5.

In 1965, Graham played for the Mets AAA-level team in Buffalo. He never returned to the major leagues and later began a college coaching career. From 1981 to 1991, Wayne led San Jacinto College to 11 consecutive Region XIV Championships and five Junior College national titles. In 1992, he became the head baseball coach at Rice University. Graham guided the Owls to 16 consecutive NCAA Division I Tournaments appearances and seven College World Series berths. In 2003, Wayne led the Rice team to its first ever national championship.
