Tommie Reynolds

Tommie Reynolds was an outfielder for the Mets in 1967. He appeared in 101 games and collected 28 hits in his lone season in New York. Reynolds played all three outfield positions.
In his second game as a Met, Reynolds got two singles and scored a run in the team's 3-2 win over the Pirates at Shea Stadium on April 13. Against the Cubs at Shea on June 18, he homered in the tenth inning off Cal Koonce to give the Mets a 4-3 win in the first game of a doubleheader. Tommie also got five singles in ten at bats in a doubleheader split at Pittsburgh on August 17. He drove in a run in each game of the twinbill, the first of which was a 6-5 Mets win over the Pirates.
Reynolds spent the 1968 season with the Mets' AAA-level team in Jacksonville. He played for the Oakland Athletics in 1969 and the following two years with the California Angels. Tommie concluded his major league career with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1972.
