Tom Martin

Tom Martin was a pitcher for the Mets in 2001. He made 14 relief appearances for the team. Martin had one win and 12 strikeouts as a Met.
Martin joined the Mets in a trade with the Cleveland Indians in '01. He had 17 innings pitched during the season. At Shea Stadium on May 1, Tom was the winning pitcher in the Mets' 7-5 victory over the Astros. He also had a pair of scoreless innings in an 8-6 Mets loss to the Expos on October 5 at Shea.
In 2002, Martin pitched for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He spent the next five seasons with the Dodgers, Braves and Rockies. In 2008, Tom appeared in six games with the Atlantic League's Long Island Ducks. He concluded his career one year later with the San Angelo Colts of the United Baseball League.
