Tito Navarro

Tito Navarro was a shortstop for the Mets in 1993. He played in 12 games with the team. Navarro had one single and one run scored as a Met.
Navarro was called up to the Mets from their AAA-level team in Norfolk in September of ’93. At Atlanta on September 18, he drove in the winning run with a single in the 10th inning to give the Mets a 3-2 victory over the Braves. Tito also scored in the Mets’ season-closing 9-2 win at Florida on October 3.
In 1994, Navarro played 85 games in the Mets’ minor league system to conclude his career.
