Tim Corcoran
From The Met Wiki
Tim Corcoran was a first baseman for the Mets in 1986. He appeared in six games for the team.
Corcoran had played eight major league seasons with the Tigers, Twins and Phillies before joining the Mets. Tim's official debut with the team came on April 24. In the game at St. Louis, the lefthanded-hitting Corcoran was inserted as a pinch hitter for Randy Niemann when lefthander Ken Dayley came in to pitch for the Cardinals. Tim was replaced by the righthanded-hitting Kevin Mitchell without getting his chance to bat. Tim grounded out in his first actual time at bat for the Mets in the team's 10-5 win on April 29 at Atlanta.
In the second game of a doubleheader at Pittsburgh on June 6, Corcoran made his only appearance in the Mets' starting lineup. He drew a walk and scored on a home run by Rick Aguilera in the fourth inning of the Mets' 10-4 victory over the Pirates. This was Tim's last game of his career as he was released three days later.
