Taylor Buchholz

Taylor Buchholz is a pitcher for the Mets. He joined the team in 2011. Buchholz had pitched four major league seasons before coming to the Mets.

In ’11, Buchholz had 26 innings pitched for the Mets. He recorded one win and 26 strikeouts during the year. At Philadelphia on April 6, Taylor struck out five batters in two scoreless innings in the Mets’ 10-7 loss to the Phillies. He pitched two perfect innings for the win in a 2-1 Mets victory in 14 innings at Philadelphia on May 1. Buchholz also had one scoreless inning pitched with two strikeouts in the Mets’ 6-3 win over the Dodgers on May 6 at Citi Field.
