Steve Dillon

Steve Dillon was a pitcher for the Mets in 1963 and 1964. He appeared in three games for the team. Dillon had three strikeouts as a Met.
Dillon made his major league debut on September 5, 1963. He pitched in the sixth and seventh innings of the Mets' 9-0 loss to the Cardinals at St. Louis. In '64, Steve pitched an inning of the Mets' 9-4 loss at Pittsburgh on April 24. He also pitched the final two innings of a 12-4 Mets defeat to the Reds on May 6 in the first night game ever at Shea Stadium.
In 1965, Dillon pitched for the Mets' A-level team in Auburn (NY) and AA-level team in Williamsport (PA). He had totals of six wins and 56 strikeouts for the year.
