1970: Cleon Jones hits a triple to score Tommie Agee in the 14th inning for a 3-2 Mets win over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.

1978: The Mets complete a sweep of a three-game series with an 11-9 win over the Pirates at Shea Stadium.

1982: Dave Kingman hits an inside-the-park home run in the Mets' 2-1 win over the Cardinals at St. Louis.
