Ricardo Rincon

Ricardo Rincon was a pitcher for the Mets in 2008. He made eight relief appearances for the team. Rincon had three strikeouts in four innings pitched as a Met.

Rincon had pitched ten major league seasons before joining the Mets in ’08. He pitched one inning of the Mets’ 9-7 victory at Washington on September 17. Ricardo also made appearances in the Mets’ 9-5 triumph at Atlanta on September 19 and 7-6 win over the Cubs on September 25 at Shea Stadium.

In 2009, Rincon pitched for his native Mexico in the World Baseball Classic. He pitched for the Mexican League’s Diablos Rojos during the season. Ricardo continued his career in his homeland the following year.
