Razor Shines

Razor Shines was a coach for the Mets in 2009 and 2010. He served as third base coach in his first season on the team’s staff. Shines became the first base coach in his second year with the Mets.
Shines played in 68 games for the Expos between 1983 and 1987. He had a total of 15 hits with the Montreal team. Razor served as a manager for the Reds’ A-level team in Charleston, West Virginia in 1995. He managed in the White Sox system from 2001 to 2006. After coaching first base for the White Sox in 2007, Shines was the manager for the Phillies’ A-level team in Clearwater, Florida in 2008.
