Ray Daviault was a pitcher for the Mets in 1962. He appeared in 36 games and had a 6.22 earned run average as a member of the team. Daviault recorded one win and 51 strikeouts with the Mets in his only major league season.

Daviault made his major league debut in the Mets' first home game ever on April 13, 1962. He pitched hitless eighth and ninth innings as the Mets lost to the Pirates, 4-3, at the Polo Grounds. At Los Angeles on June 30, Ray struck out seven batters and allowed one run in seven and one-third innings of relief as the Mets lost, 5-0, on a no-hitter by Sandy Koufax. He got his only major league win in the Mets' 5-4 victory over the Cardinals at the Polo Grounds on July 7. Daviault made his last major league appearence with three innings pitched in a 5-1 Mets loss at Chicago on September 30.

In 1963, Daviault pitched in 50 games for the Mets' AAA-level team in Buffalo to conclude his career.
