Pat Strange was a pitcher for the Mets in 2002 and 2003. He made 11 relief appearances for the team. Strange had 17 innings pitched as a Met.
Strange made his major league debut on September 13, 2002. He pitched a scoreless eighth inning in the Mets' 11-8 loss at Montreal. Two days later, Pat recorded three strikeouts in three scoreless innings in a 10-1 Mets defeat to the Expos. He also pitched four scoreless innings in the Mets' 5-3 loss to the Brewers in the second game of a doubleheader at Shea Stadium om June 5, 2003.
In 2004, Strange pitched in 29 games for the Mets' AAA-level team in Norfolk to conclude his career.
