Mike Kinkade

Mike Kinkade was an infielder and outfielder for the Mets from 1998 to 2000. He played in 33 games with the team. Kinkade had nine hits and five runs scored as a Met.
Kinkade came to the Mets from the Milwaukee Brewers on July 31, 1998. In September, he appeared in three games during the Mets' unsuccessful quest of a playoff berth. Mike scored as a pinch-runner in an 8-4 Mets win in the second game of a doubleheader at Houston on September 15.
In 1999, Kinkade had 46 at bats for the Mets. He compiled 19 total bases for the season. In the home opener at Shea on April 12, Mike hit a two-run double in the Mets' 8-1 win over the Marlins. He tripled and scored a run in a 3-2 Mets victory at Cincinnati on April 20. Kinkade hit a home run in an 8-5 Mets win at San Diego on April 29. He also hit a two-run homer in an 11-6 Mets loss at Arizona on May 9.
Kinkade was dealt to the Baltimore Orioles in 2000. He played in 64 games for the Orioles over the '00 and 2001 seasons. Mike played for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2002 and 2003. He continued to play in the minor leagues until 2008.
