Mike Fyhrie

Mike Fyhrie was a pitcher for the Mets in 1996. He made two relief appearances for the team. Fyhrie had two and one-third innings pitched as a Met.
Fyhrie was called up to the Mets from their AAA-level team in Norfolk in September of ’96. He made his major league debut by pitching two innings in the Mets’ 6-5 win over the Braves in 12 innings on September 14 at Shea Stadium. Mike also pitched in a 9-5 Mets loss at Philadelphia on September 29.
After one season with the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan, Fyhrie pitched for Norfolk again in 1998. He spent the next four seasons with the Angels, Cubs and Athletics. Mike pitched one more year in the minor leagues before concluding his career with the Hyundai Unicorns in Korea in 2004.
