Miguel Batista

Miguel Batista is a pitcher for the Mets. He joined the team in 2011. Batista had pitched sixteen major league seasons before coming to the Mets.

In ’11, Batista made four starts and five relief appearances. At Citi Field on September 1, he pitched six innings and got the win in a 7-5 Mets victory over the Marlins. Miguel also pitched a two-hit shutout in the Mets’ season-closing 3-0 win over the Reds on September 28 at Citi Field.
