McKay Christensen

McKay Christensen was an outfielder for the Mets in 2002. He played in four games with the team. Christensen hald one hit in three at bats as a Met.

Christensen was claimed by the Mets on waivers from the Dodgers in '02. At Atlanta on April 6, he singled and scored in a nine-run ninth inning that gave the Mets an 11-2 win over the Braves. McKay also drew a walk in the Mets' 5-2 loss in 14 innings at Atlanta one day later.

Christensen completed the '02 season with the Mets' AAA-level team in Norfolk. He played to more years in the minor leagues to conclude his career.
