1962: The Mets draw 16 walks to set a franchise record in a 10-4 win over the Dodgers.

1964: Jesse Gonder hits a two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to give the Mets a 4-3 win over the Giants in San Francisco.

1969: Tom Seaver gets the win in a 7-3 Mets' victory over the Pirates. It is Tom's 44th win as a Met, breaking Al Jackson's team record of 43.

1971: Tom Seaver pitches a four-hit shutout as the Mets defeat the Phillies, 3-0, at Philadelphia. Seaver records 13 strikeouts, including the 1,000th of his career.

1974: Jon Matlack pitches a one-hit shutout as the Mets defeat the Cardinals, 4-0, at Shea Stadium.

1982: The Mets come back from a four-run deficit for a 5-4 win over the Expos at Montreal. Ron Gardenhire hits a two-run homer to put the Mets ahead to stay.

1990: The Mets defeat the Reds, 4-2, at Shea Stadium. It is the Mets' 11th consecutive win, tying a team record.

1993: The Mets come away with a 10-9 victory in 12 innings at Florida. Dave Telgheder pitches three perfect innings to record his second major league win.

2002: The Mets score runs in eight different innings in an 11-2 win over the Yankees.

2004: Cliff Floyd and Ty Wigginton drive in a combined six runs in a 7-5 Mets win over the Reds at Cincinnati.

2011: The Mets pound out 20 hits in a 16-9 win over the Tigers at Detroit.
