1966: Cleon Jones hits a two-run single off the Cardinals' Al Jackson in the 10th inning to give the Mets a 2-0 win at St. Louis.

1976: The Mets trade Jack Heidemann to the Milwaukee Brewers for Tom Deidel.

1980: Claudell Washington hits three home runs to lead the Mets to a 9-6 win over the Dodgers in Los Angeles. The homers are Washington's first ones as a Met.

1994: The Mets score four runs in the eighth inning for a 5-2 comeback win over the Braves in Atlanta.

2011: The Mets defeat the Athletics, 3-2, in 13 innings at Citi Field.
