1970: Tom Seaver hits his first major league home run and pitches a complete game as the Mets defeat the Expos, 7-1, at Shea Stadium. Ron Swoboda hits a grand slam.

1977: The Mets defeat the Expos, 7-5, at Shea Stadium. Lenny Randle hits a game-winning two-run homer in the bottom of the 17th inning.
